Partial Hospitilization Program (PHP)

Healing That Reaches the Whole Person

At All Saints Recovery, our programs are designed to support lasting healing, not just temporary relief. We believe recovery is most meaningful when clinical care, spiritual support, and real human connection come together. Our work is rooted in compassion, honesty, and the belief that people can change when they are met with both truth and grace. Our current services emphasize Christ-centered, trauma-informed care that treats the whole person, body, mind, and spirit.

Whether someone is reaching out for themselves or for a loved one, we want the first step to feel clear, welcoming, and hope-filled.

Partial Hositilization Program

A higher level of support for deeper healing.

Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides a highly structured level of care for individuals who need consistent support and stability while continuing to live at home. With daytime programming throughout the week, PHP provides a supportive rhythm of therapeutic care, accountability, and connection while helping clients build a strong foundation for recovery.

Programming is responsive to the needs of the clients we serve, allowing group discussions and therapeutic topics to address what is most relevant in their lives and recovery. Clients have opportunities to explore substance use, emotional regulation, relationships, trauma, shame, identity, coping skills, relapse prevention, and other challenges that may be impacting their well-being.

Through Christ-centered, evidence-based care, we help clients move beyond surface-level change and toward deeper healing of mind, body, relationships, and spirit while developing practical skills for continued recovery and greater independence.

Our program goes beyond symptom management to address the deeper emotional, relational, and spiritual issues that often fuel addiction.

What Happens in PHP GROUP THERAPY?

Group therapy in PHP goes beyond education alone. Rather than following a fixed curriculum, our clinicians shape discussions around the needs, experiences, and challenges clients are facing in their recovery right now.

Much of our clinical work is informed by the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), a trauma-informed approach that helps clients explore the connection between emotions, relationships, identity, and the patterns they have developed to cope and survive. Instead of focusing only on symptoms or behaviors, we help clients become curious about what may be happening underneath them.

Groups may include emotional check-ins, guided reflection, experiential exercises, skill building, and process work. Clients learn to recognize emotions and patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, develop healthier ways of coping, and better understand how past experiences may continue to influence their present relationships and recovery.

The group itself also becomes an important part of healing. Through authentic connection, compassion, and shared experience, clients have opportunities to practice new ways of relating to themselves and others. Over time, clients can develop greater self-awareness, resilience, connection, and freedom from patterns that have kept them stuck.

Individual Therapy

Alongside group therapy, PHP clients also receive individual therapy. These sessions create space for more focused, personalized work, helping clients explore their experiences, struggles, relationships, patterns, and goals in greater depth. Individual therapy allows clients to process what may be harder to bring into group and to work more directly with the emotional, relational, and spiritual issues connected to addiction. Informed by NARM and other trauma-informed approaches, individual sessions help clients deepen self-awareness and integrate what they are learning in group into everyday life, so recovery becomes something they begin to live.

Family Therapy

We also offer family therapy as part of PHP because addiction rarely affects only one person. It can impact trust, communication, boundaries, and connection throughout the entire family system. Family therapy creates space to begin addressing these challenges with care, honesty, and greater understanding. Sessions can help loved ones better understand addiction and recovery, strengthen communication, establish healthier boundaries, and recognize relational patterns that may need healing. Our goal is to support not only the client’s recovery, but also help families move toward greater understanding, repair, and meaningful connection.

Medication Management

PHP clients receive weekly check-ins with one of our Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to support their medical needs throughout treatment. These appointments provide an opportunity to monitor overall health, discuss symptoms or concerns, review medications, and make adjustments when appropriate. For clients who may benefit from more specialized psychiatric care, our team can also coordinate referrals to psychiatric providers. Our goal is to ensure medical care is thoughtful, individualized, and integrated with the therapeutic work happening throughout PHP, supporting each client’s overall health, stability, and recovery.

Enrichment and Guest Speakers

Recovery at All Saints includes more than therapy alone. Throughout PHP, clients participate in weekly yoga and other enrichment activities that support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. We also invite guest speakers who bring encouragement, wisdom, and practical insight from their experiences and areas of expertise. These opportunities add variety and connection to the treatment experience while helping clients care for the whole person. Recovery is about more than stopping substance use—it is also about learning to live with greater strength, balance, connection, purpose, and joy.

A Continuum of Care

PHP is often one part of a larger recovery journey. As clients gain stability, strengthen recovery skills, and need less intensive support, our clinical team works with them to determine the appropriate next step. Clients may transition into Daytime IOP, Evening IOP, Virtual IOP, or outpatient services, allowing them to maintain connection and support while gradually building greater independence. Our goal is to make transitions between levels of care feel intentional, supportive, and connected.
