Intensive Outpatient program (IOP)

Healing That Reaches the Whole Person

At All Saints Recovery, our programs are designed to support lasting healing, not just temporary relief. We believe recovery is most meaningful when clinical care, spiritual support, and real human connection come together. Our work is rooted in compassion, honesty, and the belief that people can change when they are met with both truth and grace. Our current services emphasize Christ-centered, trauma-informed care that treats the whole person, body, mind, and spirit.

Whether someone is reaching out for themselves or for a loved one, we want the first step to feel clear, welcoming, and hope-filled.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Structured support for real-life recovery.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program provides structured, Christ-centered support for individuals who are ready to build recovery while remaining engaged in everyday life. With Daytime, Evening, and Virtual options, clients can receive meaningful clinical care while continuing to navigate work, family, relationships, and other responsibilities.

Rather than following a fixed curriculum, programming is responsive to the needs of the clients in the room. Group discussions and therapeutic work focus on what clients are experiencing in their recovery, including emotional regulation, relationships, trauma, shame, identity, coping patterns, relapse prevention, and the deeper issues that may contribute to substance use.

Much of our clinical work is informed by NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) and other trauma-informed approaches. Combined with Christ-centered, evidence-based care, IOP helps clients develop greater self-awareness, healthier ways of relating and coping, and practical tools for building a life of lasting recovery.

Our program goes beyond symptom management to address the deeper emotional, relational, and spiritual issues that often fuel addiction.

What Happens in IOP GROUP THERAPY?

Much of our clinical work is informed by the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), helping clients explore what may be happening beneath substance use. Clients may examine emotions, relationships, identity, trauma, shame, coping strategies, and patterns that once helped them survive but may now be keeping them stuck.

Groups may include emotional check-ins, guided reflection, experiential exercises, skill building, and process work. Through this work, clients develop greater self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, recognize triggers and patterns, and practice healthier ways of coping and relating to others.

The group itself also becomes an important part of healing. Through honesty, connection, compassion, and shared experience, clients discover they are not alone. Over time, insight grows, shame begins to loosen, and clients develop healthier ways to live, relate, and respond as they build lasting recovery.

Individual Therapy

Alongside group therapy, IOP clients also receive individual therapy. These sessions provide space for more focused, personalized work, helping clients explore their experiences, relationships, patterns, and recovery goals in greater depth. Individual therapy allows clients to process concerns that may be harder to address in group and work more directly with the emotional, relational, and spiritual issues connected to addiction. Informed by NARM and other trauma-informed approaches, these sessions help clients deepen self-awareness, strengthen healthier patterns, and apply what they are learning in treatment to their everyday lives.

Family Therapy

We also offer family therapy as part of IOP because addiction rarely affects only one person. It can impact trust, communication, boundaries, and connection throughout the entire family system. Family therapy provides space to address these challenges with honesty, compassion, and greater understanding. Sessions can help loved ones better understand addiction and recovery, strengthen communication, establish healthier boundaries, and recognize relational patterns that may need healing. Our goal is to support both the client and their loved ones as they work toward greater understanding, repair, and healthier connection.

Enrichment and Guest Speakers

Recovery at All Saints includes more than therapy alone. Throughout IOP, we incorporate guest speakers and enrichment opportunities that bring encouragement, practical insight, and new perspectives into the recovery process. These experiences complement the clinical work happening in group and help clients explore recovery beyond substance use alone. By creating opportunities for connection, learning, and personal growth, we encourage clients to build lives marked by greater balance, purpose, resilience, and joy.

Alumni Community

Recovery does not end when treatment ends. Our Alumni Group gives clients a place to stay connected to the All Saints community after completing treatment. Through continued fellowship, encouragement, and recovery-focused support, alumni can maintain meaningful relationships and stay connected to others who understand the journey. Our goal is to provide a community where clients can continue growing, strengthening their recovery, and supporting one another well beyond their time in treatment.
