Our Team

We recognize and appreciate that each individual client brings their own unique background and set of life experiences that made them who they are today. We strive to offer programming that meets our clients’ needs, both in their lives and in their recovery. We have found that those who rely on their faith during their time in treatment often flourish when provided with the opportunity to engage in a program that not only encourages that sense of faith but helps them grow that faith.

James Boone, MD

Medical Director

Dr James Boone was born in Tanzania as the youngest son to a missionary doctor with the Baptist mission. He was baptized by his father at age 10 and went on to graduate from high school at a missionary boarding school in Kenya. He returned for college at Baylor University and then went to medical school at University of Texas Southwestern medical school graduating with honors. He married his wife Ruth who was also raised on the mission field in Kenya and they went on to start a family and now have 6 kids and 19 grandchildren. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at Baylor in Dallas and joined his family in the practice of medicine. In 2004, "after lots of prayer and fasting" he felt led to join his older brother in the practice of Addiction Medicine at La Hacienda Treatment Center in Hunt, Tx. He completed his boards in Addiction Medicine in 2006 and has practiced full time at La Hacienda where he has served as the medical director for the past 10 years. His greatest joys are his relationship with Christ and his wife and children. Dr Boone's biggest blessing is the fact that all 6 of his children and their 6 spouses love the Lord. He is passionate about helping people in their struggle with addiction and feels that God has given him the ability to teach in the areas of medicine and scripture. In addition to taking care of patients full time and teaching patients and families in individual and group settings he also enjoys teaching in larger group settings. He continues to work at La Hacienda in their 12 step program as their medical director but is also thrilled to be a part of All Saints Recovery where he will be free to not only provide medical direction but also have the freedom to express his unreserved love for Christ and share in the quest to not only help patients get out of bondage from addiction but also be a part of their larger journey to live a victorious and joy filled life as a people deeply loved by God.
