Pennie Higdon, LPC

Group Therapist

Pennie Higdon is a Group Therapist at All Saints Recovery who brings nearly 30 years of experience in the mental health field. She offers clients a steady, compassionate presence shaped by decades of clinical work, strong faith, and a deep commitment to meeting people where they are.

Pennie’s background includes work in outpatient therapy, psychiatric hospitals, the prison system, managed care, and Christian-based treatment settings. Over the course of her career, she has worked with individuals and families facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, trauma, marital struggles, and substance use. She also brings extensive experience in clinical reviews, quality assurance, coaching, and professional presentations.

After many years in administrative and review-based roles, Pennie felt called by God to return to direct client care. Her approach is grounded in a person-centered philosophy that values authenticity, respect, and the inherent worth of every individual. At All Saints, she walks alongside clients with wisdom, grace, and a heartfelt desire to help them experience healing, purpose, and the love of Christ.
